The Cyprus spring shield race of 1967 was performed in Nicosia on April 9. Contessa 1300 coupe participated in this race from Cyprus agency Tricomitis of Hino Motors, and acquired the honor of championship in a dignified manner.
This race is an event that put up the nation as Cyprus motor sports event every year. A world famous car such as Renault, Ford Angria, Morris Mini, Lotus, and Volkswagen was with the name and performed the race. Contessa 1300 coupe by driving of president of Tricomitis, Mr. Tricomitis fully showed good performance and stability that Contessa original distinctive quality and good grade, then won the championship.
In addition, at Limasole cup driving contest of year1967 performed on January 15, this year, Contessa 1300 participated from Tricomitis company beat Alfa Romeo, Lotus, other skilled players and acquired the best prize with applause of spectators very much.
